Support Your Local Library
Your Community Library relies on the efforts of its governing, registered charity, Little Chalfont Community Library, to raise funds through community events, grants and donations to finance running costs, purchase new stock and maintain the premises. You can help in many ways and be involved as little or as much as you want.
Put simply, without volunteers and funding, the library will not be able to remain open so please help in any way you can.
Become a Volunteer
If you can give a few hours a week please become a library volunteer. We guarantee a warm welcome and interesting work with friendly people. You can work behind the counter (training will be given), help with maintenance or cleaning, take part in fundraising events or serve on the Committee.
Click here for a volunteer application form.
We are sorry, but we cannot accept applications from people under 18.
Make a Donation
You can also support your Community Library by making a financial donation by cash or cheque at the library or filling in a standing order form if you want to make a regular donation.
Please make cheques payable to Little Chalfont Community Library. Please also complete the Gift Aid Declaration (Single or Multiple) to enable us to re-claim tax on your donation.
Remember the library
in your will
You could make a huge difference to Little Chalfont Community Library by remembering the Library in your Will so that your support lives on.
It can also be beneficial, as a charitable donation in your Will reduces the Inheritance Tax burden on your estate.
You can agree a particular amount, specify a gift of all or a percentage of what remains after other payments, or identify a particular gift such as a piece of jewellery, property or shares.
Always take Professional advice on how to leave a legacy to the Library.
