What we offer
Little Chalfont Community Library is a local library operated and funded entirely by volunteers, people and businesses who live and work in the village of Little Chalfont. Although independently run and funded, we are part of the network of libraries in Buckinghamshire and provide all the services of a typical County library. We offer the following services to the local community:-
Books and Periodicals
The Library provides a wide range of books and periodicals, including:-

up-to-date adult fiction and non-fiction (including large print)

audio books on CD

a big selection of children's and teenage fiction

a range of dyslexia-friendly books

a selection of graphic novels
-
periodicals, newspapers and local information.
Photocopying & Laminating
We have photocopying and laminating facilities (up to A4) to serve the needs of our customers. A small charge is payable for these services.
FREE Public Access Computers
We have three Windows desktop computers with Internet access which may be used free-of-charge by library users. A nominal charge is payable if any printing is required.
Jigsaw Library
We have over 150 jigsaws for both adults and children which you can borrow free of charge.
Hire The Library
You can hire the library to host your own event outside of normal opening times. It is equipped with audiovisual equipment for showing films and for activities needing audiovisual support. The library can comfortably seat about 25 people. Kitchen and toilet facilities are available.
