Play Cantonese
Free play sessions between 10.30 and 11.15 on the 4th Saturday of the month. (Please note that there will not be a session in July or August 2023.)
Best for ages 0-5 years - just turn up, no need to book or speak Cantonese. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Story Time
Story Time for children is held on Thursdays from 10:30am - 11:00am. After a pause during the pandemic this will be re-starting on 27th January 2022.
Bring your toddlers to hear their favourite stories. There is no charge.
Library Summer Reading Challenge
The library has successfully run the Summer Reading Challenge for a number of years. Those completing the challenge receive a medal and a certificate.
The theme for 2023 is ‘Ready, Set, Play’ about the power of sports, play and physical activity. It aims to encourage children aged 4-11 to read for pleasure over the summer holidays. Rewards and stickers are given for each book read, up to a total of six.
Visit the library to find out more and to enrol. The challenge runs from early July until Saturday 16th September. Children must be a member of the library to participate, which is free of charge.
