What's on at your Community Library
Something to interest everyone
Little Chalfont Community Library organises its own events as well as playing host to other organisations. Have a look at the activities we provide and don't forget out popular Film Nights and Matinees.
If you want to use the Library for your own event, then click on the Facilities menu option to see how.
Free play sessions between 10.30 and 11.15 on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month starting on on 24th September.
Best for ages 0-3 years - just turn up, no need to book or speak Cantonese. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Story Time for children is held on Thursdays from 10:30am - 11:00am.
Bring your toddlers to hear their favourite stories. There is no charge.
Once again we are running a Quiz Night to raise funds for the Library.

Venue Little Chalfont Village Hall
Price £15 per person
A fish and chips supper included in the ticket price and there will be a licensed bar.
You can make up teams of 8 or we will find you a team to join.
Tickets are now on sale in the Library. Please note that we are unable to accept reservations without payment. The number of tickets is limited so please buy yours as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Regular Events & Fixtures
New to computers? Need to improve your skills?
Beginners and Improvers classes are available in the library. Please contact George May on 01494 581169 if you wish to attend a class.
The library hosts two reading groups which take place on the library on the third and last Wednesday of every month at 7:45 pm and at 7:30 pm respectively. Each group reads one book a month and then meets to discuss it in an informal social setting.

Knit & Knatter
Can you knit or want to learn in a friendly supportive atmosphere? Then come along to our Knit and Knatter group, which meets every Monday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
