We have invested some of our book funds in a selection of self-help books for teens and adolescents. It is well known that many young people have mental health and self-esteem issues. Topics covered include managing emotions such as anger and anxiety and dealing with issues such as depression, dyslexia and eating disorders.
These books can be found on the Parent shelf in the Junior section of the library.
Why not come along and take a look at these new sections and recommend them to your friends and families if you think they would be useful.
Some great new fiction on the shelves this week, including the latest novels by Tracey Chevalier,
Howard Jacobson, Linwood Barclay, David Baldacci and Peter James.
Read the latest news about what's happening in and around the library, including new books.
